No need for wrapping, each set comes in this beautiful clear pail making a playful and stunning present for any special occasion or play date!
Hand-wash and air-dry or put them in the dryer WITHOUT heat to soften them up a bit. Because minor bleeding on the first few washes may occur it is best to wash each color by itself. -

The sorting series has a new addition! Lincoln loves things that GO. And he also loves playing with his big sister’s learning materials. The Counting Series of manipulatives are just a bit too small for him (a mouth explorer!) So I decided it was time to add a Toddler-friendly set to be used on their own or with the Color Sorting Bowls (sold separately). This has already proven to inspire a treasure trove of new pretend-play ideas from my six year old who likes to put the cups in a muffin tin and use these colorful spheres as muffin tops. My three year old pretends they are scoops of ice cream. And when left to enjoy the rainbow of 6 by themselves, my little engineers constructed ramps out of paper and cardboard to roll, slide, and spill these colorful balls to the floor. They are sturdy enough for little hands to fiddle with and durable enough to go sliding and gliding across the floor.
Each ball measures 2” in diameter and is painted with a nontoxic, soy based, watercolor wash so you can still see the beautiful grain of the wood. Each set comes with 6 balls; one each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and is lightly sealed with a combination of beeswax and jojoba oil. On a Roll is collected in a muslin pouch for easy storage and tote-ability.

Having three different sized apples lends itself to a myriad of learning opportunities built-in to play. My little ones invented a game using the Buckets and Rainbow Roller (both add-ons). They take turns rolling to see which color to collect from the bucket. They get so excited when they are able to "block" one another from collecting ALL of something (small, medium, large, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). Then my older one counts them to determine whose pile is greater than, less than or equal to -- she categorizes and reevaluates her calculations based on different characteristics. She even went so far as to graph their game on occasion! She takes gaming very seriously :)
Each Sort Apples comes with 18 apples; 3 of each color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple; one of each size per color: small, medium, large. The smallest apple is definitely miniature at 1/2" diameter and 1/2" tall diameter. The medium apple is approximately 3/4" diameter and 7/8" tall. The biggest apple is approximately 1 and 3/8" diameter and 1and 1/4" tall. Each apple has been painted using a soy based wash and coated in beeswax and jojoba oil to seal the color and protect the wood.
